Friday, March 26	Auction for AccesSportAmerica with celebrities and friends is being held at and underwritten by the Millennium Bostonian Hotel, Boston so that all funds raised directly support AccesSportAmerica. Pre-Event Reception with celebrities and AccesSportAmerica athletes is for contributors of $1,000 and above. Honorary Chairs of this year's annual auction are Academy Award winner Chris Cooper, HBO The Sopranos and Writer Marianne Leone Cooper, ABC News Medical Editor Dr. Tim Johnson and New Yorker Writer and Author Susan Orlean. Star of ABC's Auctioneer is ABC TV It's All Relative and Comedian Lenny Clarke. Susan Halby is Chair. Reservations are $125/per person. July 31	Nantucket Biathalon Challenge starts with a two-mile Fun Run through the streets of Nantucket followed by Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Races for teams of four competing in sprint races along Jettie's Beach. Funds raised support AccesSportAmerica High-Challenge Sports Summer Program at Jettie's Beach, Nantucket. The event is annually held the first weekend of August.
May 2004	AccesSportAmerica Leadership Breakfast is held and underwritten by the Millennium Bostonian Hotel to acknowledge key supporters and Program Partners as well as to introduce new friends to our programs. June 27	AccesSportAmerica Mayorıs Cup Regatta, now in its second year, brings together key corporate and philanthropic teams of ten with persons of all abilities competing in traditional Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe races on the Charles River while sharing in a day-long Luau/Party on the river bank near the Esplanade. Honorary Chairs are Mayor Thomas M. Menino, City of Boston; ABC News Medical Editor Dr. Tim Johnson, Chair is Boston Business Journal Publisher Michael Olivieri. Founding Chair is William M. Yates, Esq. Co-Chairs are Debby Belichick and Commissioner for City of Boston's Commission for Persons with Disabilities Stephen Spinetto. The Mayorıs Cup is held annually on the last Sunday in June.
